The Best Mouse Sensitivity Settings
There are various sensitivity settings that you can adjust for different aspects of your aim and movement. Take note that PUBG automatically sets the sensitivity settings at a default level of 50 for each of these aspects. While there is no specific level that guarantees perfect gameplay, here are the advisable sensitivity settings more often used by professional PUBG players:
Average Sensitivity. It's best to set this to 43. This is slightly lower than the default sensitivity. It is best to keep this a bit lower so you can have more control, and also be able to spot terrain details and enemy movements while scrolling the mouse.
Targeting Sensitivity. Set this at 40. By doing this, you'll be able to aim at stationary targets smoothly when firing from the hip. Also, when you're targeting moving enemies, you can follow them with your aim with a steady sight. Placing this setting at a high level (above 50) would be similar to having a shaky hand.
Scoping Sensitivity. Set this at 40 as well. You want this to be the same as your targeting sensitivity for muscle memory purposes. You don't want to adjust your mouse movement too much each time you aim down the sight.
Sensitivity for all kinds of scopes (2X, 3X, 4X, 6X, 8X, 15X). As a general guideline, you want to set each of these by 39 or lower. What Are DPI Settings?
Aside from mouse sensitivity, you also need to adjust your DPI settings. DPI stands for 'dots per inch'. This has something to do with the amount of pixels that your mouse will cover for every inch you move on your mouse pad.
For example, if your setting is at 1,000 DPI, your mouse will move by 1,000 pixels in the game for every 1 inch you move on the mouse pad.
A higher DPI setting is associated with lower activity required on the mouse pad, while a lower DPI means you need to be more active with your mouse or probably get a bigger mouse pad.
Different players would have different DPI setting preferences. For example, those who are used to bigger mousepads and larger screens tend to prefer lower DPI settings. Some players are more accustomed to doing a wide range of arm movements and so they set their DPI on the lower end.

Around 90% of PUBG pros set their DPI to 800 or lower. 800 is a moderate DPI setting, but not too high that you will lose control each time you move your mouse. For best results, it is best to avoid DPI levels of over 1,000. If you do that, you'll have greater difficulty inspecting your surroundings and maintaining sight control.
If you have a larger mouse pad, or if you prefer doing big arm gestures while playing, you might want to set your DPI to a minimum of 400. This will ensure that your mouse view doesn't move too much with very little movements on the pad.
