Mouse Acceleration Off?
One of the best adjustments you can make to your settings in PUBG is to turn off your mouse acceleration. Here's why:
When mouse acceleration is on, your movement sensitivity automatically increases, depends on how rapidly you move your mouse. This causes a lot of problems for you because the faster you move, the more sensitive your mouse becomes!
For more efficient gameplay, what you want is to be able to do a quick 180-degree movement at any time, without any variable changes to mouse sensitivity. Building muscle memory is the main reason why this is important. If you are able to move freely without worrying about increasing and decreasing sensitivity, it means that you've eliminated a major distraction in the game.
If you'd like to make insane flick shots and crush your enemies in hot spots just like Shroud does, then release your inner beast by playing with GOSU.AI! Aggressive Play Style
This setting becomes increasingly important during the endgame (final circle), when you need to do a lot of different things at the same time. You need to quickly move into the final circle, glance around you for any enemies behind, and scan the surroundings for signs of enemy movements.
With mouse acceleration off, you can do all those things smoothly without compensating for added sensitivity while you move fast.
To turn off your mouse acceleration on your PC, simply search for 'Mouse Settings' on your desktop search bar. You will be able to access the various mouse settings for your computer. If you are using Windows, you can follow these steps to turn off mouse acceleration:
The Best Mouse Sensitivity Settings
There are various sensitivity settings that you can adjust for different aspects of your aim and movement. Take note that PUBG automatically sets the sensitivity settings at a default level of 50 for each of these aspects. While there is no specific level that guarantees perfect gameplay, here are the advisable sensitivity settings more often used by professional PUBG players:
Average Sensitivity. It's best to set this to 43. This is slightly lower than the default sensitivity. It is best to keep this a bit lower so you can have more control, and also be able to spot terrain details and enemy movements while scrolling the mouse.
Targeting Sensitivity. Set this at 40. By doing this, you'll be able to aim at stationary targets smoothly when firing from the hip. Also, when you're targeting moving enemies, you can follow them with your aim with a steady sight. Placing this setting at a high level (above 50) would be similar to having a shaky hand.
Scoping Sensitivity. Set this at 40 as well. You want this to be the same as your targeting sensitivity for muscle memory purposes. You don't want to adjust your mouse movement too much each time you aim down the sight.
Sensitivity for all kinds of scopes (2X, 3X, 4X, 6X, 8X, 15X). As a general guideline, you want to set each of these by 39 or lower. This is because the longer the range of your scope, the more your mouse tends to be sensitive to movement. To avoid aiming difficulties from very long range scopes (6X and above), make sure you set the mouse sensitivity to the lowest possible setting you are comfortable with.

What Are DPI Settings?
Aside from mouse sensitivity, you also need to adjust your DPI settings. DPI stands for 'dots per inch'. This has something to do with the amount of pixels that your mouse will cover for every inch you move on your mouse pad.
For example, if your setting is at 1,000 DPI, your mouse will move by 1,000 pixels in the game for every 1 inch you move on the mouse pad.
A higher DPI setting is associated with lower activity required on the mouse pad, while a lower DPI means you need to be more active with your mouse or probably get a bigger mouse pad.
Different players would have different DPI setting preferences. For example, those who are used to bigger mousepads and larger screens tend to prefer lower DPI settings. Some players are more accustomed to doing a wide range of arm movements and so they set their DPI on the lower end.
On the other hand, players on smaller laptops or mousepads generally tend to prefer higher DPI settings.
The Best DPI Settings
Again, while DPI settings will have to depend on a specific user's preference, here are just some recommended DPI settings that you can use as a guideline for better gaming experience and more efficient performance:
Around 90% of PUBG pros set their DPI to 800 or lower. 800 is a moderate DPI setting, but not too high that you will lose control each time you move your mouse. For best results, it is best to avoid DPI levels of over 1,000. If you do that, you'll have greater difficulty inspecting your surroundings and maintaining sight control.
If you have a larger mouse pad, or if you prefer doing big arm gestures while playing, you might want to set your DPI to a minimum of 400. This will ensure that your mouse view doesn't move too much with very little movements on the pad.
The final DPI setting would still depend on your personal preference and equipment. We have just given you the general guidelines.

PUBG Vertical Sensitivity
The vertical sensitivity multiplier allows you to set the ratio between vertical and horizontal mouse movements. For example, if you set this to 1:1 (or 1.0), it means your mouse sensitivity will be the same whether you are moving your mouse vertically or horizontally.
On the other hand, if you set this to 70% (or 0.7), it means your mouse sensitivity is 70% less when doing vertical movements. Some players actually prefer a 0.7 vertical sensitivity multiplier to reduce recoil.
However, the general consensus among professional PUBG players is a ratio of 1:1. This preference is based on aggregate comments seen on gaming boards and forums from real PUBG users. The idea behind a 1:1 setting is to have a uniform sensitivity across all directions of movement. This appears to be the more advisable setting.
